Im only dipping them in water for 2-3 seconds and letting them sit on a paper towel for a few moments until the adhesive softens. I think Im doing everything right, so Im wondering if its the decal bonder not working properly. I have a can of Krylon ColorMaster Clear Satin that I was thinking of trying. I want to apply the decals to a smooth surface and will be using the same clear coat for the finish afterwards. Although, I think its probably a safer bet to use clear coat. One thing Ive found, though- spray the decals AFTER you cut them out and cut them down to size- otherwise, water gets in the little gap left were your blade cut away the coat. ![]() Swap tips and techniques, show your latest buildsWIPs, post kit reviews and discuss the latest kits.
