So you button press function could be like: Navigate to visualization (Viz1) Unmark Marked Rows Navigate to visualization (Viz2) Unmark Marked Rows.
![]() Spotfire Add Reset Filters Button Code Solution ThanSo a code solution than can unmark all may fit better for me.I dont have that script available now as an example though, but it is definitely possible.
You need to be sure to include the Spotfire.Dxp.Application and Spotfire.Dxp.Application.Visuals for this to work, and I think that, if I can check the API later, well probably find that we need Spotfire.Dxp.Application.Data in order to reference the markings that have been applied. It is definitely possible though User:3377Sean Riley: This is the only scripting option I can think of off the top of my head, and it essentially does the same thing you said. It just never changes the actual page, so the algorithmic efficiency should be a little better (same number of readswrites on the inner portion, but swaps out the writes used for page navigation for just using reads on the pages present in the document). The efficiency is linear in both cases though, and on a presumably small number of pages with small number of visualizations (were talking like less than 1000), youd probably only notice a difference if you put a clock on it and set it to record execution time to like hundredthsthousandths of a second. If you believe this answer is better, you must first uncheck the current Best Answer. I have a trade data dashboard that has 6 input controls that affect a Map Klip, a Chart Klip and a Drill-down Table Klip. Furthermore, the variables of the input controls affect each other (for example, one input control lets you pick a Continent, which then limits the choices for the next input control for Country). This is intended for users who want to filter a massive amount of trade data based on their inputs, but who are also very likely to have completely different inputs within the same session (one moment they want to see exports to China, and the next moment they want to see imports from Europe). Rather than having to manually go back to each input control and reset the value to All so that they can see all options, I think it would be great if there is a dashboard-wide Reset button that reverts the input control values (and their variables) to their Default value as set in their respective properties. Spotfire Add Reset Filters Button How To Build SuchA tech support contact showed me how to build such a reset button for a single input control, but that doesnt really help, since the user would have to click 6 buttons to reset the whole dashboard, and also the button only changed the internal value of the variable, but not the displayed value on the input control.
